King Edward's School Home

An independent day school for boys aged 11 to 18

Friday afternoons

To the great joy of pupils and staff alike, there are no lessons at KES on a Friday afternoon! Instead boys have the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and interests in such activities as Leadership, Combined Cadet Force, Personal Service Group, the KES Expeditions Award, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Debating, Photography, Film Studies, Living History, Golf, local visits and many more!

Having an afternoon a week dedicated to extra-curricular activities provides an opportunity for boys to develop their social skills ready for life at university and beyond.
