The role of Marketing and Communications Officer provides an exciting opportunity to operate across the full marketing mix and also support the work of our award-winning Development Office through alumni engagement and fundraising communications.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the role is central to the implementation of all marketing activities and the post-holder will need to be a confident communicator who grasps concepts quickly and can translate them into engaging content suitable for the intended audience and medium.
In addition to crafting news stories, working on publications and getting involved in PR, the post-holder will also take the lead on digital communications, managing the school and alumni social media channels and looking after the day-to-day management of the websites.
Working as part of a very small but very busy team, the post-holder will need to be able to work autonomously and have the skills and experience required to support in the production of high-quality communications. Prior experience of working in communications, demonstrable writing skills, a creative flair, and exemplary attention to detail are a must.
Type of role: Full-time, permanent.
Salary: £22,948 per annum, Grade 5 SCP12.
