KES completes longest ever touch rugby game in aid of Guide Dogs
Over 150 pupils, parents, extended family, former pupils and staff have raised over £8,000 for Guide Dogs by playing the longest ever continuous game of touch rugby.
US Ambassador presents plaque to commemorate 6888th Battalion
The US Ambassador has presented a blue plaque to King Edward’s School to commemorate a US Army battalion that was stationed at the school during WWII.
Exceptional Pupil Achievement Award
A former pupil of King Edward’s School and his teacher have jointly received the Exceptional Pupil Achievement Award at the Design and Technology Association Excellence Awards 2019.
King Edward’s School Birmingham announces that Dr Mark Fenton will, by mutual agreement with the Governors, be leaving the school on 31 August to pursue other avenues. Mr Keith Phillips, Second Master, has been appointed Acting Chief Master with immediate effect. A search for a new Chief Master has already commenced.
