The Ardèche trip happens every two years and is open to boys in the Shells and Removes. Highlights include a 2½ day canoe descent of the Ardèche river gorge, and a day visit to an exciting high ropes course. France is rich in Roman history and so we will also take time to visit the superb Pont du Gard, an iconic bridge forming part of an aqueduct, together with the equally impressive Orange Roman Theatre and Nîmes Amphitheatre.

You will need to return the KES consent form (which will be handed to boys) and the Adventure Ardeche medical questionnaire.

It is handy to have a sunglass cord to prevent glasses or sunglasses being lost in the water. One example is this.

A travel pillow is useful in the chalet. You could search for: Vango Square Pillow Large. ‘Neck’ pillows are not useful.

If you would like to bring a travel towel to save some space, search for Sea to Summit Tek Towel Large, which are comfortable travel towels and have a small pack size.
