Theory of Knowledge art talk

a picture of ruth millington

As part of our Division’s Theory of Knowledge course, on Monday 12 October, art historian and founder of SUPA gallery, Ruth Millington, gave a fascinating talk to pupils on Birmingham’s art history and epistemological issues relating to the arts. It was great to welcome Ruth to KES.

Following the talk, Ruth commented on Twitter: “Had THE most wonderful time giving a talk on art history at KES today. Students care about the arts. They asked me about the repatriation of museum objects, the art market and who decides what is art. Filled me with hope!

“It was my absolute pleasure and I was so impressed by the students, with their tricksy, intelligent questions!”
