The ninth instalment of this series of academic lectures named after the School’s most well-known alumnus, JRR Tolkien. Previous speakers include Jonathan Coe, Alfred Brendel and Sir Simon Wessely. Mark Damazer CBE, is the Master of St Peter’s College, University of Oxford, and was the deputy director of BBC News from 2001-2004 and controller of BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 7 from 2004-2010.
