King Edward’s School featured in Tatler Schools Guide 2026

King Edward’s School has been recognised among the country’s leading independent schools, with a glowing review in Tatler Schools Guide 2026. The feature highlights the school’s academic strength, inclusive ethos, and commitment to innovation under the leadership of Chief Master and Principal, Kirsty von Malaisé.

Tatler commended King Edward’s School for offering “a seriously impressive education to some highly intelligent boys, whatever their background,” referencing the school’s wide-ranging bursary programme and commitment to outreach through free masterclasses, workshops and partnerships with local schools and community organisations.

The guide also praised the introduction of A Levels from September 2025 and the continued emphasis on intellectual curiosity through initiatives such as School for Thought.

Alongside academic achievement, Tatler noted the school’s thriving co-curricular life – from rugby and cricket success to outstanding drama and music performed in collaboration with King Edward VI High School for Girls.

The full feature appears in the October 2025 edition of Tatler, on page 55 (please note Tatler is a paid-for publication).
