The tuition fee for the 2020/21 academic year is £4,697 per term (three terms per annum).
Our tuition fees are inclusive and cover almost all extras including books, stationery, materials, Personal Accident Insurance and public examination fees (except re-sits). Other costs such as private music lessons, school meals, school camps and educational trips are charged for separately in the course of the year.
Fees are payable either monthly by direct debit or termly (due no later than the first day of each term).
All applicants to the school must pay £25 to cover administrative costs. A deposit of £400 is payable on acceptance of a place and is refunded when a pupil leaves the school, less any unpaid fees and charges.
There is no additional charge for this cover, it is included within the school fees for each academic year. For further information, please see the Schedule of Benefits for the Pupil Personal Accident Insurance Policy.
If you wish to make a claim under the personal accident policy, please contact the claims department on 01444 335 173 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
For parents with three children on full fees in either King Edward’s School or King Edward VI High School for Girls at the same time, a 25% discount is given on the fees of the eldest child.
All boys in Year 7 are required to participate in the lunch system. Lunches are £3.60 per day and are payable termly. Pupils in Year 8 to Year 11 can opt in or out of the catering system on a termly basis. A range of catering options are available for pupils in the Sixth Form.
