The tuition fee for the 2018/19 academic year is £13,230 per annum, or £4,410 per term.
Our tuition fees are inclusive and cover almost all extras including books, stationery, materials and public examination fees (except re-sits). Other costs such as private music lessons, school meals, school camps and educational trips are charged for separately in the course of the year.
The fee is either paid termly at the beginning of each term by cheque or direct debit, or by monthly direct debit over 10 months.
A deposit of £400 is payable from all full fee-paying parents on acceptance of a place for their son. This deposit is non-refundable and will be offset against the final term’s fees.
For parents with three children on full fees in either King Edward’s School or King Edward VI High School for Girls at the same time, a 25% discount is given on the fees of the eldest child.
All boys in Year 7 are required to participate in the lunch system. Lunches are £3.45 per day and are payable termly. Pupils in Year 8 to Year 11 can opt in or out of the catering system on a termly basis. A range of catering options are available for pupils in the Sixth Form.
