Fees
The fees for 2024/25 are £6,108 per term* (£7,330 including VAT). Fees are reviewed annually by the Governors. Fees are payable not later than the first day of each term and can be paid termly or monthly by direct debit.
Other costs such as private music lessons, school meals, school camps and educational trips are charged separately in the course of the year.
* These are the full fees per term. A deduction has been applied to our fees for the Spring Term and Summer Term of 2024/25, which has been communicated to parents.
Application fees
All applicants to the school must pay a non-refundable registration fee of £50 (£60 including VAT) to cover administrative costs, unless proof of receipt of Universal Credit, Income Support or Job Seeker’s Allowance (not Tax Credits) is provided. For applicants at other entry points the registration fee is £150 (£180 including VAT). A deposit of £400 is payable on acceptance of a fee-paying place and is refunded when a pupil leaves the school, less any unpaid fees and charges.
Sibling discount
For parents with three children on full fees in either King Edward’s School or King Edward VI High School for Girls at the same time, a 25% discount is given on the fees of the eldest child.
Catering
All boys in Year 7 are required to participate in the lunch system. Lunch is £4.50 per day and the cost is payable termly. Students in Year 8 to Year 11 can opt in or out of the catering system on a termly basis. A range of catering options are available for students in the Sixth Form.
