Sixth Form Enrichment

The Sixth Form is an undoubted highlight of a boy’s time at King Edward’s and equally rewarding for boys who join us post-16.

Across the vast range of co-curricular activities on offer, students are given the opportunity to take the lead on projects, developing the skills that will be crucial to them later in life.

Whether it is performing in the Ruddock Performing Arts Centre, on South Field or enjoying some of the myriad trips on offer, students have a chance to explore and develop their talents, guided by expert staff using state-of-the-art facilities.

Life in the Sixth Form at King Edward’s School is busy and exciting. Friday afternoons are transformed as boys move to leading sessions for younger years in leadership, sports and Combined Cadet Force (CCF) or visiting other schools as part of Partnerships activities.

Whatever a boy enjoys, there is something for him in the clubs, teams and societies at KES. The CAS programme ensures that he reflects on his participation and learns from each experience through the Sixth Form, building him into a confident young man well prepared to continue his passions into adult life.

Many of our co-curricular music and drama activities are run jointly with King Edward VI High School for Girls, with whom we share our site.
