Ms Kate Wright

Assistant Head (Inclusion) KES & KEHS

Ms Wright is Assistant Head (Inclusion) across both King Edward’s School and King Edward VI High School for Girls. Ms Wright is a qualified SENDCo who graduated from the University of Birmingham with a first class honours degree in Geography and completed her PGCE at Jesus College, Oxford. Ms Wright’s passion for inclusion is documented throughout her career.

As well as undertaking both pastoral and academic roles within different settings, Ms Wright has supported SENDCos and leaders in a number of schools across Birmingham to improve provision for many young people. Ms Wright joined KEHS in 2021 as SENDCo. She is proud to have established the Warnock Room and is looking forward to developing a similar space for pupils at KES.

Ms Wright enjoys spending time with her family, as well as travelling and gardening.
