Foundation Awards recognition for KES staff

A man in a suit smiles at a podium in front of a screen that reads "KING EDWARD VI FOUNDATION AWARDS CLOSING REMARKS FROM CEO JODH DHESI".
The third annual Foundation Awards, held earlier this month, honoured staff from King Edward's School for their exceptional contributions. From innovation to teamwork and community impact, the event celebrated the dedication and talent that continue to shape life across the King Edward VI Foundation.

The third annual Foundation Awards ceremony took place earlier this month, in which several members of staff from KES were recognised for the impact of their work on pupils, colleagues and the wider community.

Mr Dipple, head of grounds at KES and KEHS, won the Operational Innovation Award, in recognition of the technology and processes he has introduced over the past year to transform the operations of the grounds team, with, as we are sure everyone will agree, visually impressive results across our beautiful campus.

Mr Wright, gardener, was highly commended in the Values Award: Care category. Mrs Romeo, cleaning supervisor, Miss Curtis, admissions and marketing officer, and Mr Dawson, design and technology technician, were all highly commended in the unsung hero category, while Mr Johnson and Mr Butler, were both highly commended in the Values Award: Collaboration category for their leadership of CCF at KES and contribution to introducing CCF at KEHS.

Mrs Gillow, second in English, was highly commended in the Beyond the Foundation: Community Impact Award, and Mr Boardman, educational visits co-ordinator, in the Values Award: Ambition category.
