Mr Burdett is Assistant Head at King Edward’s School, Birmingham, with responsibility for the school timetable and academic tracking. A mathematician by training, he has taught in state, grammar and independent schools, bringing a wealth of experience to his role. Alongside teaching mathematics, he is particularly interested in using data to support student progress and has a well-known enthusiasm for spreadsheets.

Outside of school, he is a keen runner, currently training towards a sub-20-minute 5k, and also enjoys cooking.
