The best way to find out more about King Edward’s School and experience the buzz of school life is to join us at one of our Open Events.
Whole-school Open Events
KES hosts two whole-school Open Events each year, one in the autumn term shortly before entrance exam registration closes and one in the summer term, enabling prospective parents and primary or prep school pupils to look around the school, meet current pupils, staff and parents, and hear from the Chief Master & Principal.
Existing pupils will act as your tour guide as you visit academic departments, sport, music, drama and also see some of the clubs and societies in action.
There is also a dedicated Sixth Form Open Evening in the autumn term, which provides the opportunity to find out about A Levels and our Sixth Form enrichment curriculum, and view our impressive Sixth Form facilities. Sixth Form applicants are also welcome to attend the whole-school Open Events and we can arrange individual visits.
During 2025/26, our Open Events will be as follows:
- Whole-school Open Evening: Monday 22 June 2026, from 5.30 – 8.00pm. Registration will open closer to the time.

Sixth Form Open Evening
There is a dedicated Sixth Form Open Evening in the Autumn term, which provides the opportunity to find out about the 24 A Levels we offer, the wider curriculum and our impressive Sixth Form facilities. Sixth Form applicants are also welcome to attend the whole school Open Event and we can also arrange individual visits.
Our next Sixth Form Open Evening will be held in Autumn 2026 – date to be confirmed.
