The U16 hockey team has qualified for the National Finals, which will be held at the Olympic Legacy site in Stratford on 22 and 23 April 2015.
In the Midland Hockey Finals the team kept a clean sheet through the group matches against Bishop Vesey (3-0), Uppingham (4-0) and Oakham (2-0), and then went on to beat last year’s national champions, Trent College, in the semi-final (1-0). The team’s only loss came against Repton College in the final (5-1).
King Edward’s School will compete in the U18 Vase Final at Twickenham, their first final appearance since 1993, following a dominant season and a decisive semi-final victory.
