Chess team through to National Final

Last Friday, King Edward’s School was honoured to welcome Stanley and Judith Earley, the son and daughter of Major Charity Adams, who visited the campus

King Edward’s School is thrilled to announce another year of excellent GCSE results, showcasing our pupils’ hard work, ambition and breadth of achievement.

Daniel has made an enormous contribution to school life at KES. A gifted all-rounder, he captained the First XV rugby team to the national finals at Twickenham, represented the school in water polo at national level, and took part in countless music concerts.

Having succeeded in the competition, we were then given the opportunity to partake in an online Q&A session with the ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano, which was a very interesting and useful experience, where we learned a lot about life as an astronaut, especially what it is really like to spend time on the ISS.
