KES message about the queen

A joint statement from Dr Katy Ricks, Chief Master of King Edward’s School and Kirsty von Malaisé, Principal of King Edward VI High School for Girls:

“The KEHS and KES community is deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty The Queen. Hers was a life lived in service to others: an example to all of us. Our thoughts are with His Majesty The King and the Royal Family.”

On Thursday 4 July, eight Upper Middle pupils from KES and 31 Lower Fourths from KEHS set off from Birmingham airport to spend five days exploring the beautiful Rhineland area of Germany.
