Oxbridge Success – 24 Offers

a picture of the schools campus

24 boys have been offered places at Oxford and Cambridge after the December round of interviews.

Of the 24, 8 are for Medicine, the highest number of medics for a decade. Thirteen of the offers are for Science/Maths subjects and 9 for Humanities, including three for Modern Languages.

‘It has never been tougher to get an offer to Oxford and Cambridge and this number of successes across a broad range of subjects is a real triumph,’ said John Claughton, the Chief Master. ‘We also begin to sense that the introduction of the IB Diploma is having an impact on the intellectual development of the boys and this is giving them a better chance of success.’
