Ruckleigh School at KES for wildlife day

Year 4 from Ruckleigh School in Solihull joined us on 10 May to explore the contents of the KES pond and the Edgbaston Nature reserve. Led indefatigably by Dr Galloway and Mr Porter, find of the day was a Caddisfly larva, which had built itself a protective suit of twigs and leaves. The children were delighted to spot a peregrine falcon through their binoculars.
