Having won the Regionals late in the Autumn Term, the KES Senior Schools’ Challenge team – Ben Fernando (c), Andrew Macarthur, Yanbo Yin and Nick Wyatt – travelled to the Perse School in Cambridge to play the (single) Inter-Regional round of the competition.
The boys ran out convincing winners, 1010 – 680, with all playing a significant part in the victory.
The National Finals await at the end of April and the team hope to retain the trophy won by the KES champions last year.

Over 90 Year 9 students from across our Foundation Schools came together to take part in this year’s Enterprise Day.
In April, John Kampfner, journalist, writer and broadcaster, came to KES for a discussion with Professor Simon Green (Professor of Politics at Aston University) about his new book In Search of Berlin: The Story of a Reinvented City.
In April, KES Combined Cadet Force, with partners Selly Oak Trust School, held our Annual General Inspection, with Reviewing Officer Col George Marsh OE.
Our KEMUN 2024 took place on 19th and 20th April. The two days comprised of an Opening Ceremony, the lobbying phase, the General Assembly and a Closing Ceremony.
