Choral and Orchestral Concerts

These concerts were a true testament to the ambition and excellence of music at across both our schools.

The echoes of applause have just about fallen silent after two outstanding concerts recently held at the Ruddock Performing Arts Centre.

On Sunday 9 March afternoon, the Choral Society conducted by Linnea Markgren, sang Duruflé’s Requiem, an inspiring work full of colour and character. The KES/KEHS Symphony then played Mahler’s Ninth.

On the Monday 10 March evening, Rebecca dazzled with Rakhmaninov’s Second Piano Concerto, alongside a second chance to enjoy the Mahler. The audience responded with a standing ovation, a fitting tribute to the dedication and skill of our musicians.
