At our first online Founder’s Day ceremony on 14 October 2020, we celebrated the achievements of our pupils.
The ceremony featured a welcome from the Chief Master, the notification of prizes, a vote of thanks from the School Captain, Jimmy Yuan, and even a rendition of the school song. Mayor of the West Midlands and Old Edwardian, Andy Street CBE, was our guest speaker and spoke about his time at KES and the importance of social mobility and our Assisted Places Scheme.
On a KES travel scholarship, Joseph (OE 2024) explored Europe’s rich culture and history. From Zürich to Milan, each city offered unique learning experiences that broadened his horizons. Read more about his journey here.
99 pupils, parents and staff from both schools took part in this year’s cycle tour from Copenhagen to Berlin.
