King Edward’s School in Birmingham, one of the best independent day schools in the country, is seeking a Graduate Sports Assistant – Rugby, with a residential option available. This is a term-time position starting in late August 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful department, with a national reputation for Physical Education and Games, from late August 2026 to early July 2027. If you are an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and skilled sportsperson who is looking to potentially move into a career in sport in the future, then we would like to hear from you.
The successful candidate will provide support across the sports department and work alongside the PE and sports coaching team, working with students from Year 7 to Year 13. This will involve assisting with both management of school teams and also the House sport programme. They will be expected to be available at all times that school sport takes place, including Saturdays and evenings during term time.
We would welcome applicants who have a strong background in rugby.
